Slate Social in York - February 2018

York Theatre Royal
Saturday 24 February

Eclipse's Slate is an international movement, in the North of England, that will support thousands of Black Independent Artists by increasing access to local, national and international networks. We use the term Black in its broadest socio-political context but do not seek to impose any definitions on the artists we work with.

Slate Social is a place to meet other artists of colour. Whatever art form you're working in, whether you're starting out or an old hand, this space is for you!

It is an opportunity for meeting and socialising with fellow artists and practitioners, and exchanging information and tips, through a mix of conversations and guest speakers who offer insights into their practice and projects.

Slate Enabler, Melanie Abrahams, will be also be on hand to let you know about the latest opportunities from Slate.

After the social stick around to see Brighton Rock (a Pilot Theatre and York Theatre Royal production) at 7.30pm. A limited number of tickets to see the play are available for those who attend the social.
