Slate Social/Roundtable - Manchester, Mon 12 Aug

HOME MCR, Downstairs Bar
Mon  12 Aug
5 – 8pm

Eclipse's Slate is an international movement, in the North of England, that supports thousands of Black Independent Artists by increasing access to local, national and international networks. To Eclipse, Black includes anyone who is marginalised for their race or ethnicity.

This special combined Social/Roundtable version of Slate's monthly Manchester get-together will feature three spectacular Black artists to ask the question 'What does it mean to be a Black artist in the North?'. Join us for free wine and juice, and ask our expert panel anything at all about being a Black artist in the North of England.

The guest speakers are Nwando Ebizie, Keisha Thompson and Naomi Sumner-Chan. Slate Enabler, Adam Lowe will be also be on hand to let you know about the latest opportunities from Slate.

The event is free to attend, but try to arrive early to enjoy the refreshments.
