This one-day workshop offers the chance for Black* artists to explore what is involved in a career backstage. Participants will gain a solid grounding in the key aspects of Production and Stage Management and by end of day will be ready to take the first steps in developing a new career.

Sunita Hinduja is a Company Stage Manager and has worked with The Donmar Warehouse, Sonia Friedman Productions and The National Theatre of Scotland.

Drummond Orr is a Production Manager and Lighting Designer with over thirty years’ experience. He has worked with various companies including: The RSC, Scottish Opera, Theatre Royal Newcastle, Opera North and is currently Production Manager at Live Theatre.

No previous experience is needed.
