An excellent opportunity to join York Theatre Royal for its 2019 Spring/Summer Season Launch and network with other artists.

As well as a chance to socialise and take a tour of the theatre, the afternoon will present the opportunity to hear from:

  • Director Suzann McLean on what can be expected from Alfred Uhry’s Pulitzer Award-winning play Driving Miss Daisy..
  • York Theatre Royal’s Artistic Director Damian Cruden who will share plans for the theatre’s summer show, Arthur Ransome’s classic Swallows & Amazons.
  • The Wise Children show band.
  • Meet poet and playwright and Slate Artist Naomi Sumner Chan.
  • Slate Enabler Charlotte Bowen will be on hand to let you know about the latest opportunities from Slate.

Arrive from 2.30pm, tours until 3pm, followed by social until 4pm and then launch.
