Join Slate for a roundtable discussion about Black* mental health, wellbeing and working in the arts. Guest speakers will join us for an enlivening event with a laidback atmosphere. Speakers confirmed include Chanje Kunda, Adam Lowe, Charlotte Maxwell, and others to be confirmed.

A roundtable takes the hierarchy out of the typical panel discussion, meaning anyone can have a say and all are equal.

Slate also has a limited number of free tickets for Black Men Walking when it tours Oldham Coliseum later in the year (24 - 26 Oct).

Black Men Walking is directed by Dawn Walton and written by Testament. The first story from Revolution Mix – an Eclipse movement spearheading the largest ever national delivery of new Black British stories – Black Men Walking returns for a second UK tour following its huge sell-out success last year.

Food and drink will be provided.
Slate can cover travel costs for those visiting Oldham Coliseum from out of town.

Slate is an Eclipse Theatre movement that supports Black artists in the North to work locally, nationally and internationally, building sustainable models for careers in the independent sector.

*To Eclipse, Black includes anyone who is marginalised for their race or ethnicity.
