A friendly conversation and check in for Black artists, and fellow artists who are also marginalised for their race.

This an opportunity to share and connect with Artist Ella Mesma and Enabler Melanie Abrahams from the Slate World UK team alongside guest artist Pauline Mayers. The themes of wellbeing, progress, resilience and care are at the heart of the conversation and we welcome you contacting us in advance via Twitter (@eclipsetcl) or email.

In a career spanning over 25 years, Rambert trained choreographer and theatre maker Pauline Mayers, has performed and taught for contemporary dance companies across the UK. Now integrating theatre and dance, Pauline’s work, What If I Told You, has toured nationally to critical acclaim and was a shortlisted nominee for the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award 2017. She is an Associate Artist at West Yorkshire Playhouse and Chris Goode & Co.  In 2019 she was awarded Arts Council England funding to develop a project exploring the legacies and impacts of Harewood House.
