#AllOfUs Redundancy Care Package

The #AllofUs Redundancy Care Campaign is an immediate response to support Black, Asian, ethnically diverse and migrant arts workers facing redundancy.

We will provide assistance to those in financial crisis and suffering from anxiety, as well as a four-week programme of practical support to upskill and empower workers who face employment uncertainty. The #HereToStay programme will include masterclasses, coaching, mentoring, plus CV and application guidance from leading experts in the sector.

The global pandemic has amplified inequalities experienced by people from ethnic and diverse backgrounds who work in the arts and cultural sector. The Government announced the £1.57bn rescue package amidst widespread redundancies across venues nationwide. Our concern is that much of these redundancies weigh towards staff in public-facing and junior roles, which is further compounded by statistics that Black, Asian, ethnically diverse and migrant arts workers are most likely to be in those roles. We cannot afford a talent drain in the sector and community.

Created by Black Womxn In Theatre (BWIT) and Eclipse Theatre, in partnership with the Bush Theatre, the #AllofUs Redundancy Care Campaign will help those in crisis and prepare workers for their journey back into the workplace.
